As the General Election is called for Thursday 4th July, Mark Wooding, Liberal Democrat Candidate for Central Devon, issued a call for a rural revival.
On the same day that United Utilities were found to have illegally dumped 10 million litres of raw sewage into Lake Windermere, the Labour Party decided nothing needs to be done about the water companies.
Liberal Democrat MP Richard Foord has promised to fight for a 'rural revival', including reform of UK water companies, on a visit to the Devon County Show. Mr Foord was joined by six Liberal Democrat Parliamentary candidates at the ‘River Discovery Zone’.
