It's official

Mark Wooding's nomination papers for the General Election have been submitted and accepted. It's now official he is the Liberal Democrat candidate for Central Devon.

"Whilst it is very exciting, I am very conscious of the responsibility I now have to the voters and to the many Liberal Democrats that have supported, and are supporting, me," commented Mark Wooding. "I come into the election knowing we can win but we need to work hard to earn the trust of people and prove that Liberal Democrats can lead a rural revival in Central Devon.

"I am very grateful to everyone that has nominated me. And a big 'thank you' to my Agent Steve Keable who has co-ordinated the whole process.

"I'm looking forward to the campaign and to meeting as many voters and Liberal Democrat members as possible."
