Mark Wooding, Liberal Democrat candidate in Central Devon calls for action on potholes.
On Thursday 7th December Cllr. Frank Letch presented Devon County Council Counicl Leader, John Hart, with a petition on behalf of Copplestone residents to get local roads repaired.
Main roads into Copplestone are in a poor condition, and after news that they would not be repaired until 2025 Councillors Frank Letch and Natalia Letch raised a petition of residents. On Thursday Frank presented the petition.

The Leader was presented by Councillor Letch on behalf residents in and around the Copplestone area raising concern at the state of the two major A roads in the village. The petition contained in the region of 100 signatures.
[NB: The relevant Director would be asked to respond direct to the petitioner on the issues raised, within 15 days, letting him/her know how long it would take to undertake the requested review in line with the Council’s Petition Scheme].
"I await the response to the petition from the Council," said Frank. "The road surfaces on our major roads are shocking and urgent action is needed. I will be reporting back to Copplestone residents when I have more information."
